The Mirandola Ensemble

Twin-cities based vocal ensemble, The Mirandola Ensemble, celebrates the United States' 250th Anniversary with a program of Early American music including the shape note and Sacred Harp traditions, early hymnody, folk songs, and the seeds of American bluegrass. And, of course, the wildly popular 18th-century music of some of America's earliest composers - farmers, horse breeders, and blacksmiths by day, amateur composers by night - the Yankee Tunesmiths themselves!
