Starting with Slöjd: Viking 6-Strand Braid

Starting with Slöjd is a monthly program for students in early elementary grades. Participants explore tools, materials, and skills that prepare them for a lifelong love of handcraft. Learn to braid like the Vikings! Instructor Anna Ruhland will show students how to braid a cord using 6 strands of thread or yarn. This cord can be used as a necklace, bracelet, or strap for a bag.
