Kaki King

Dubbed by Rolling Stone as "a genre unto herself," Brooklyn, NY-based Kaki King has proven to be just that. Named one of Rolling Stone’s “New Guitar Gods” in 2006 (at the time the youngest artist and sole woman on the list), she is famous for her unique and utterly mesmerizing style — tapping, slapping, and hitting the body of her acoustic and lap steel guitars alongside intricate fingerpicking.
