Brackett Park Rocket Lighting Event! Saturday September 12, 2026 5-10 PM. In partnership with 36thART, Midtown greenway Coalilition, and the Greenway Bike Ride and Arts Festival. Bring a blanket, a picnc, flashlights, lawn games and your curiosity. The former 1962 playround structure is ow a beloeved landmark in the community. The Rocket “Return Journey” was transformed by artist Randy Walker placed on the corner of the park at the intersection of 36th Ave and e. 28th Street.
